Join creative natural textile dyeing workshops and discover a subtle, organic world of colors where every fabric tells its own story.

This is an inspiring, slow, and sensory experience where colors are born from nature – plant leaves, roots, flowers, and natural pigments. During the workshop, we will create unique textile samples using botanical inks, which give fabrics soft, vibrant, and unique shades.

🌿 In these workshops, you will learn about the basics of natural dyeing and sustainable textile dyeing principles.

🌿 You will learn how to prepare different fabrics for dyeing – we will use cotton, linen, silk, and other organic materials.

🌿 You will try dyeing with botanical inks extracted from plants – roots, leaves, and other natural sources.

🌿 You will create your own unique textile samples that will inspire further creative projects.

🌿 Perfect for beginners – no prior experience necessary.

🌿 Participants' age from 12 years.

🌿 Language: Lithuanian and English.

We work only with natural, organic materials that are friendly to both the skin and the environment. This is creation that cares not only about the result but also about the process – good for your body, mind, and our environment.

About the experience

This is more than a workshop – it is an invitation to slow down, disconnect from everyday life, and immerse yourself in a creative process where the most important things are feeling, experimentation, and connection with nature.

Every result here is unique and unpredictable – colors unfold in their own way, fabrics react differently, and the process becomes a small creative surprise.

We invite you to come alone – for a calm time for yourself, or with friends, family, or colleagues. The more of you, the cozier, and for larger groups, we apply special discounts.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

🌱 All basic dyeing tools, textile samples, and dyes needed for the workshop

🌱 Transportation to and from the dyeing studio

🌱 Lunch, hot drinks, soft drinks, cookies for snacks

🌱  You can also bring your own textile item or fabric – for example, a silk scarf, T-shirt, blouse, or other accessory that you can dye without additional charge. Important: the fabric should be white or natural (undyed) in color and made of natural fibers, such as cotton, linen, or silk, and small in size, e.g., a scarf or T-shirt.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED

💡 Additionally, as an option - you can purchase and dye a larger piece of fabric during the workshop, which you can later use for your unique project. We can offer organic materials such as cotton, silk, and wool. The price will depend on the desired amount of material and color - the additional amount of dye pigment needed.

About the lecturer

The workshops are led by Elzė van der Hart, founder of NOORD LOOM and textile and sustainable fashion designer.

With over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, Elzė shares not only technical knowledge but also a broader perspective on fashion – as a craft, creation, and conscious choice.

These workshops are part of NOORD LOOM's broader vision – to inspire creating slower, more responsibly, and closer to nature, continuing the traditions of color masters in a contemporary context.
